Just keep babyhawk stock. If yes how does it perform? Hi Thanks for the great review.

After all, the Babyhawk is running much lower KV motors with bigger props which makes it more efficient and powerful. It has babyhawl lot more punch than the Moskito yet runs much quieter. If you are buying the babyhawk, make sure yours have longer screws M1.

I get about m range with the stock VTX. Please warn people if you instruction the prop guard, which save 7 grams, do not make the mistake I made and put the same screws back in. But then I would worry about protecting that poor antenna in crashes: The FC is even rated up to 6S!!

Review: EMAX Babyhawk 85mm Brushless Micro Quad – Oscar Liang

The motors actually support up to 4S! It has some pretty high quality components and the performance is just great!

Review: EMAX Babyhawk 85mm Brushless Micro Quad

It has more punch even on lower C rating packs. Babyhak bought the babyhawk and in researching afterwards I found this article and found it to be so helpful I downloaded a PDF of it so I can save it for reference. I will confirm later. I try to push full throttle but the result is in the video clip.

But the Babyhawk is considerably larger comparing to the Tiny Whoop or even the Moskito due to larger frame and larger props. The short motor screws concerned me, and I was right. Love to have this option. If might not be the smallest micro brushless quad, but if you remove the prop guards it looks much smaller somehow. We use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website. I use the Pulse 3s A minor crash knocked the motor off, and it ripped the motor wires. Also cant seem to connect to BetaFlight.

You said emax switched from an adjustable vtw to only 25mw. I have one of these little guys and I love it! Your email address will not be published.

Confirm later with 2. One minor correction though, the motor screws are actually 1. I took the props off afterwards and spun up the other two in the Betaflight configurator, and they held at full throttle WITHOUT props on probably drawing far less amperagebut the other two are definitely dead: For Spektrum users, you can use satellite receiver, and there is 3.

When did they make the switch? Try ebay I found mine on there. That would allow you to run 3S even 4S: The Babyhawk 85mm from Emax is a micro brushless quadcopter.

My Babayhawk seems not work correctly. However I do believe Emax will change out the dipole for a CP antenna in the production version.

The one i reviewed was a model and it was limited up to 3S. I modified mine to 12A ESCs and one of my motors can not handle the higher wattage. The motors are only listed as 2S in some locations. Check FC connection diagram shown earlier. You label the camera as an adjustable 25mw to mw.

I have not noticed any worse multi-path or signal reflection problems when flying indoor, compared to the CP setup on a Tiny Whoop such as FX Size matters for a micro quad, a lot!
